I was just wondering if anyone (everyone) else calls the kids in the same order. I've noticed even when I sign cards it's almost always Liam and Bridget, never the other way.

    Just wondering

I always say Caden and Madison, birth order and alphabetical. I never really thought about it though. I kind of just goes together like that.

Yes, I always say Emilie and Trevor and that is the way they were born. When I sign cards I always sign them in birth order, DH, me, Caroline, Emilie and Trevor. To me it just sounds right. It doesn't sound right to me to say Trevor and Emilie.

I always say (or sign) my kids' names in order of birth - just habit I guess. It sounds really wierd when someone asks about them and says it out of sequence - it takes me a minute to catch on

I generally sign their names in birth order. When I call them though I switch it up.

I hadn't really thought about it, but I generally sign their names "Regan and Tessa" which is their birth order and alphabetical. I think I usually refer to them in this order when speaking, also.

I always say Ryan & Sofia. It's alphabetical and in birth order too.

I switch it up but I probably put Jazzy before Jessy in most cases...maybe because mine are both J's it doesn't bother me which is first

I almost always say "Amy and Sarah" -- it just seems to roll better that way. DH gets on my case though, because he's afraid Sarah will get a complex at always being second. And technically she was Twin A, anyway (although they were only 1 min apart due to c/s). So I try to at least write it "Sarah and Amy" sometimes.

I almost always say "Ainsley and Bea", which is birth order and alphabetical. My mom frequently says "Bea and Ainsley" which sounds weird to me.

That's a good question! I always mix it up, just to be fair. I used to always put Jackson and Preston, but then I kinda felt guilty about Jackson always being first, so I try to do both ways.

I usually mix it up and take turns. In cards, I put my older sibling first then I mix up the other two. In person, people generally are focusing on the two little ones. I take turns with their names and then I always add 'and this is big sister Emily.'

In letters & cards, I usually start with listing the youngest (Ruby) then ending with the oldest (DH). When calling them out loud, though, I usually start with the one who's making the most trouble!

Same here. When we are introducing our babes, it's just whoever I point too first.

The first year I used birth order (Jackson is a minute older) so I always said Jackson and Ethan and signed their names that way to cards, etc. To be fair to Ethan, I switched it for a year the day after their first birthday so we are currently doing Ethan and Jackson. Jackson will be first again the day after their 2nd birthday. If this makes any sense...

I switch it up both in speaking and writing. Bianca and Gabby, Gabby and Bianca..
But I think some names pairs don't work either way.
