I am 27 weeks with twin girls. We are having a really hard time agreeing on names. So far the only one we've been able to agree on is Isabella (he wants to call her Bella for short)

He is really into meanings and it has to sound good together as well as with our last name (English) <--yes that is the name.

So far we're leaning towards Olivia. I really liked Shiloh but he's not crazy about it.

I like older names. We have a son already named Malachi (We call him Kai).

    Suggestions please? TIA!

    Isabella is beautiful.

    I too like older names.

Our girls names are Abigail and Amelia. I think both of those go great with English.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Amelia. It was one of my top three. I don't know why I haven't been able to talk him into it... maybe I should whisper it in his ear every night while he's sleeping.

If it works it would be worth it.

1 of the reasons I love that name is I feel like it is beautiful and strong. Just like my Amelia! :give_rose:

My Amelia has nick named herself "Mimi." We call her Milia, Mimi, badelia, Meems, and moo.
Maybe you could come up with a nickname he would really like.

You could go with another Ella name

Graciella (you could call her Grace)
    Gabriella
    Daniella
    Arabella
    Mariella
    Stella/Estella

I think names that end in l sound good with English (better than the ones that end in a vowel)

    Raquel
    Abigail
    Noelle
Some names from above with out the a
    Gabrielle
    Danielle

Isabella and Elizabeth have the same meaning. They could bet Bella and Beth

Olivia is lovely, but the only short forms I know are Liv and Libby, neither one which I like. (seeing as your DH has already picked a nickname for Isabella).

I'm going to throw out some different ones:
    Leanne
    Felicia
    Callinda
    Alanna
    Kendra

    And I also like Abigail/Abby.
