Does anyone have a nail biter? My 26 month old ds has started biting his nails - I'm not sure if I should ignore it or try to stop him. Anyone have any suggestions?

My DS did this with his finger nails and toe nails, both to the point of bleeding. All the products I found in my local stores seemed too "toxic". I found this and it did the trick, here is the website:

It took about about a month to work, and it was not cheap, but worth every penny!
    Hope this helps.

I have one that did. We started cutting them short every two or three days. He stopped because there was nothing to chew. Now he picks his nose instead.

Marcus was a bit older when he bit his nails. We made a deal with him, that he would get a quarter everytime I had 5 nails to cut. That worked like a charm. And after 2 or 3 times, I stopped giving him the quarter, because then the habit was broken, and he didn't need the incentive.

STOP IT! Definitely...I've been biting my nails since I was too young to remember...I can't stop. They look horrible, its a nasty, sick habit, but no matter what I've tried, I can't stop.

This is what I used on my son to get him to stop sucking his thumb and now what I use on my Allison to keep her from biting her nails. It works!
