i got a lot of helpful input on here about gas relief, etc. i just purchased mylicon and i have a few questions..

1.) the dispenser is bugging me. it says under age 2 use 0.3 ml.. well when i go to fill the dropper it never stops at 0.3 & always fills the whole thing up to 0.6.. then i go to dispense a little of it & its like the liquid is just floating around in the dispenser.. ughhh.. anyone have the same problem & what did you do?

2.) i rather kill 2 birds with 1 stone & mix it in with the formula.. now on the bottle it says you can use it with 1oz. cool water, formula, or another liquid substance.. does that mean 1oz for all of the above or just for water??? that seems redic for formula like i want to do.. can u mix it with the whole 4oz i give them because i dont see the difference??

sorry to sound redic.. just trying to get input.. thanks in advance!!!!

Hi there, Here is what I do!

The 0.3 mark is hard to hit...so squeeze it and fill it up....drop by drop put it back in the bottle. When you get it down to the right mark give it to the baby straight. THey love it! They like to suck on their paci afterwards.

    Good luck

I think I know what you mean...Make sure you squeeze all of the air out of the dropper before drawing it up, draw it up to 6ml, and squeeze it out down to 3. That is how I did it anyway!

I think it says 1oz, because if you put it in 4, they might not drink all 4, and won't get all of the med.

thanks for the advice! it seems though that when i try to drip it out to .3 drop by drop, its just floating in the middle of the dropper.. hmmm maybe this is a job for daddy :rotflmbo:

We just use a regular syringe because I agree that the dropper is completely stupid. We put it directly in their cheek.

My dropper did the "floating" thing too. But after looking at it pretty closely - it usually was empty under the 0.3 mark, and above the 0.6 mark, and full in between. So, that's 0.3 and I used that amount.

    It is hard, though.

I gave it straight too, to make sure they got the full dose. (Not that it mattered with my two, it doesn't work well for us.)

i used mylicon for awhile what u do is fill it all the way. then dispence fluid until you get to the 3 but dont pump it out. just squeeze until it gets there and dont let up and then give it to the baby. if you just squeese it to 3 then let go of dropper you are letting the air right back into syring.

i used the gripe water after awhile. it's better and all natural. also alot easier to give lol
