My WONDERFUL appointment today!!!

I am so happy about the appointment today! Last week I was dilated 1/2cm so I was really nervous about this week. I had also lost 3 pounds last time and the doctors were a little upset about that since I have only gained about 17pounds. Well, today was so much better!!! We started with a growth scan. Baby A was about 3.5lbs and Baby B was about 3lbs, give or take 200g. The best news was that baby B has now flipped to vertex like baby A!!!!!!!!!!! That was the happiest news I have heard in a long time. Now I just hope that both babies stay put for the next few weeks. I gained back 2 of the 3 pounds I had lost so the doctors were really happy about that. My cervix is still 1/2cm dilated so no more change!!! My doctor told me that he was giving me the gold star for the day. I just can't believe that I am almost 32 weeks already! I haven't even started getting stuff together for the babies either. I made a honey-do list tonight and there is so much stuff left to do. First things first, we have to get the crib set up for the babies!!!!! I started getting really nervous about all the "to-do's" when the doctor started talking about the babies comming (probably) in the next 3-5 weeks. It really scared me into seeing that this is REAL!!! Well, at least I know that the boys are healthy as of right now. I just have to get ready for the big arrival!

Oh wow, what a great appointment!! you'll have some busy days ahead but wow, it's so exciting!!!!!!

 

Glad everything is holding it's own. You're in the home stretch! Remember the babies need very little "things" at first, so don't fret and take it easy!
