So I had a bunch of appointments at the end of last week - I had my cervix check, doppler scans and my L2.
Although my boy is still a solid 2 weeks behind, he has stayed on track with growing at that rate and his fluid level looks good. According to the tech on Friday, all of his anatomy looks good which was a big relief and he is now approx 10 oz which I think is great!!!

My girl is 13 oz now and doing all she should be - her anatomy also looked great and she is growing wonderfully....

So this week they check my cervix again on Thursday (seems like a lot of checking that??? any advice?) and do another doppler scan for bloodflow then on Friday I go back to get hooked up for an NST (I think) and speak to my peri....

So I am staying positive and thinking that my little guy is going to defy them all!!!!

PS - We have chosen the names Charlotte Jude and Parker Scott..... :)

No - we haven't found her yet - I did hear from my sono tech that she may have taken some time off to care for her sick Mom.... :( I certainly can't fault her for that though....

Thank you all so much for the encouragement!!!!

That's great news! Love the names. I wanted Charlotte for one of my girls, but DH vetoed it. (I vetoed his choice too, so we started from scratch!)

Want to know what I have been thinking? Since they are fraternal. maybe you dropped your eggs at different times and so there are two seperate conception dates? Who knows?

I'm glad things look great so far for you.

I have been lurking and following your story. I had/have a feeling that it is truly going to work out perfectly with your son. I really do. Something tells me, that he is all good!

I also wanted to say that they should NOT be cking your cervix THAT often! My Peri didn't ck mine until AFTER 32 weeks cuz it wasn't worth the risk. They did a few cervix measurements w/ the wand but that's cuz I begged them.

Unless you have reason to believe you have an incompetent cervix, you are risking a lot by having it ckd that often. Every time you have your cvx ckd you are risking infection. I only know this cuz I was all gung ho about it like "Ck my cervix every time pls!" and they just told me the risks and that they would NOT ck it unless they absolutely had to.

    So... ease up on those.

I am soooo happy for you! :)

I thought they were checking that an awful lot and didn't seem like they should be....
I am going to say something to the peri to hold off for a bit...
    THANK YOU....

    WTG PARKER!!!

I just love the name Charlotte but I may be totally biased toward it too. LOL
My parents always either called me Charly or Angel as a kid though. Then I "became" Charlotte at around 13 when I thought I was too grown up for nicknames any more. LMAO

Congratulations on the very very awesome news! Please keep the faith!

That's such great news!! I'm with IVFbound on the cervix checks- seems like it's too frequent. I also wanted them more frequently but was told that the risk outweighed the benefit. Anyway, I'm so happy for you and your family- sounds like great progress!! And the names are beautiful- great choices!

I never even asked them to do it - check my cervix that is - just thought that if he was asking for it, it was necessary...
Now I know to question it.... hmmmm

I knew that Parker would fight for it! We have friends with a toddler named Parker and the name just gets cuter with age! Great name choices. I'm so glad you are feeling more positive and Parker is growing. I had my cervix checked at every u/s but it was the u/s kind. The first time I had it checked by a hand, my water broke the next day.
