We just got home from the hospital a few hours ago.

Everything went so wonderful! First and foremost I have to say GOD IS SO GOOD!! We have been truely blessed and couldn't have asked for things to go any better, his plan is WAY BETTER then mine! (duh!)

So Sunday 08/23/09 morning around 2am my water broke. (37w4d) I am so glad we didn't go in on Saturday for the induction(I was going to go in for the puppps rash, but it got a little better)!! God knew better. We didn't get checked in to triage until around 4:30am. My Dr was actually still on call until 8am on Sunday morning when we were there so we got to see her. She came in around 5am and checked me, I was at 3cm and 90%effaced. She didn't an ultrasound and discovered Sarah was head down!!!!!! We were so amazed!! She has been transverse since 25 weeks! So we were up for a vaginal delivery. We got checked into a room. I was feeling pretty round around 8am and feeling the contractions a lot and was thinking of an epidural and they checked me and I was still at 3am, bummer.. so I held off on the epidural. They talked about giving me a little pitocin. So I got a bag a fluid and just as they started the drip of pitocin they checked me again an hour later and I was at 5cm and feeling very painful contractions. I finally got my epidural in place around 9:40am I would say, and the pain was better. I got super itchy from the epidural so that was a bummer, but WAY better then the pain! So around 10:45am I would say I was telling them I was hurting and maybe the epidural wasn't working. So Dr Marichal (which was so awesome!!) came and checked me and said well you are ready!! I was so suprised, it was so fast. So they set up the OR to go in and deliver and brought in my Hubby and my sis in law (she won the coin toss, haha) by the time we got set up and everyone was in place it was probably 11:30 (guessing).. So we waited on a contraction and I did about 3 sets of pushes (each set was count of 10 and 4 in a row) and he was out!! Daniel Levi was 6lb7oz and 19 1/4 in, at 11:43am, then she moved down. Her water needed to be broken. The dr didn't have the tool in the OR to breatk the water so we had to wait a few min for it. Once he got it he broke her water, we waited on a contraction, I did one of the pushes (with 4 counts of 10) and her head was out. He told me not to push and Sarah Elizabeth came out on her own from there at 11:49am weighing 6lb4oz 18 3/4in. They put her on my chest just right after Dad cut her cord, it was so amazing!! Daniel's apgar score was 9/9 and Sarah's was 8/9. They both were doing awesome and looked perfect! Oh and by the way I was boohooing the whole time!! I delivered the placenta, which was the coolest looking thing, amazing. Then received a few stitches, nothing major though. They cleaned me up a little, and the babies and everyone still all in the OR. They bundled them all up and got me back on my other bed, gave me the babies and wheeled me back into the birthing room where all my family was waiting! It was so amazing and happened so fast!!

Gabriel was such a proud brother, he was grinning from ear to ear!! He was so happy to meet them!!

We are all doing great, babies are nursing well! Just waiting for my milk to come in.

I will post some pics when I get them uploaded!!

Thank you ladies for all your support. If I am missing stuff, well I am seriously lacking sleep
