My Twins have arrived !

I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect birth. I went in at 36weeks 6days because I was having frequent contractions that were getting closer together all day. The contractions didn't phase me and weren't painful at all. I had them for weeks at that point. but we decided to go in just in case. My hospital is an hour and a half away and I have a history of fast labors, and I had been 4cm and 70% effaced sine 34 weeks, so we didn't want to take any chances. This was the 3rd time we had gone in and all the other times were false alarms, So I thought for sure It was just another false alarm. We got there and i was 5cm 80% effaced but they werent convinced i was i labour since it was only 1cm than i was a week before. So they monitored me awhile then they would check me again. Contractions were 5-7 minutes apart and a little stronger but not enough to think I was in labor. DH was convinced this was it because my contractions were huge on the monitor, bigger than they ever were. But they didn't feel much different. Babies looked happy and fantastic ! She checked me again and I was a stretchy 6 so they said, well your staying ! Yippee ! I couldn't believe it was it ! I was in no pain at all ! lol They wanted to get the epidural in right away in case it went fast. ( they did the epidural as a precautionary in case I had a c-section) My first one ever ! So after they got it in I was still feeling contractions on one side. and that epidural got put in just in time because contractions were getting painful ! They turned me a little and it moved over to my left side except for one spot near my pelvis that I was feeling intense contractions. Talk about strange ! She checked me again and I was still 6cm so they decided to break my water. She left the rooom and were getting the OR set up for when I was ready. Not 5 minutes after she left I felt pressure and knew it was time. They got my dr and she said I was fully dilated ! So now they started to scramble !!! It was so surreal because I felt no pain at all and I could still move around pretty easy ! My mom had just got there when they broke my water but they wouldn't let her in the OR while I delivered We got in there ad I started pushing right away and baby A was coming right on down. 2 or 3 contractions and he was out !! Lathan mac was born at 12:44pm 6lbs 4oz 19.6in long. They Baby B started coming right on down and she told me to go ahead and push with a contraction, One push and out came Levi Percy ! 12:49pm 6lbs 19.6in ! They were born at 37 weeks exactly. Absolutely perfect ! I had retained placenta but she got it out right away and my bleeding slowed. I got to nurse right away and they have been going ever since !!! They are 1 month old now and exclusively breastfeeding. They are just phenomenal !!! I would totally do it again ! lol

I saw in your little profile where you're from...I'm originally from Tomah. I don't want you to think that I'm webstalking you, but I took a guess at which hospital you delivered at so I could see pictures of the boys on the on-line nursery. And I guessed right! :Clap: Very very very cute guys! And I love that you had their pictures taken seperately. I did that too with mine and everyone else I saw did their web pictures together.
