My twins have arrived

    Hi ladies. I know I really dont post here that much but I wanted to let you all know that my twins have arrived. I had an emergency c-section on Sunday 4-26-09 at 32w6d due to accelerating p/e issues. Victor (Baby A) came out first at 3lbs15oz and Samantha (Baby B) came out next at 4lbs 10oz. Both were 17.5" long. Considering they are premies they are doing fantastic (which Im sure the steriod shots helped a bit). They were on CPAP for only the first 24 hrs. Then only feeding tubes and IV fluids. Samantha has been weaned off the heat in her incubator and Victor is starting to be weaned. Both are taking bottles, Samantha at every feeding and Victor at every other feeding. So my babies are doing really great considering their GA when born.

    Congratulations on your babies! Those are great weights for their gestational age and it sounds like they're doing really well! :) :)

    Congrats Jess!! I'm glad to hear you and your twins are doing well!
    I love the names you chose (Samantha is one of our girl names...). Strong names for strong little babies!
