My Twins are Here

    Hey everyone! I'm feeling really good. The twins are doing wonderful!

    Kennedy Jo was born first at 8:22pm. She weighed 4lbs 1oz, 17inches long. She came out with only 4 pushes and she came out screaming. Apgars were 9 and 9 She is doing GREAT. No oxygen needed and no problems at all. She is in a little isolate to keep her warm, and she is already sucking on a binky which is a good sign.

    Kingston Daryl was born at 8:59pm. He weighed 3lbs 15oz and 16.5inches long. He was a bit harder to get out because my cervix went back down to 8cm after Kennedy was born. He ended up having to be delivered with forceps because his little head got stuck sideways and his heart rate dipped down to 70bpm. He is also doing great. His apgars were 9 and 9. No oxygen needed. He is already sucking on his binky also.

    So everything went great no tears or anything. I'm just so glad that they are both doing so good. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers!

    Congrats! My boys were 33 weekers and were 3lbs 3oz and 3lbs 11oz so you have some great weights there! Please visit us in the NICU forum and WELCOME to the First Year!
