My toddler is driving me crazy. He has been so whiny lately I am just not sure what to do with him. Not to mention I found him scooping the formula into the sink (we lost a half a can) and how he drug Emily on the carpet from the living room to her room and gave her a rug burn about the size of a quarter on her head (Any advice for how to help it heal? :help: ). He tries to lay on them to give them hugs. UUGGHH! I try to teach him ways he can touch and play with the babies that won't hurt him. Just a vent! Thanks for reading!

:hug99: I feel for you. We are going through the same things here. DS has dumped 2 full cans of formula on the carpet.

:hug99: I wish I could help but even after 11 months we're still having issues. Hang in there. One day the babies will be big enough to fight back! :p

I am having some of the same problems with Josh, in that he is just being too rough with the babies now that they are bigger. I do put him in time out if I catch it happening.

Same here!!! Dealing with her is so draining lately. It has really escalated in the last 6-8 weeks. Whining & emltdowns about every little thing & really starting to challenge me. I know it is normal developmentally to assert her independence but it really seems as though she is just trying to get a rise out of me. It caught me completely off guard - where did my sweet little girl go??! :hug99: What happened to the group hug? I think we could all use it!!

Yeah, I feel your pain. Emma has been really awful lately. I hate to say that about my sweet girl but it's true! I try to be as consistent as possible and use time-out liberally. And then I put on a movie and escape to TS if I feel like it's become really nuts around here.

Change the name to Mina and my life is the exact same!

I feel for you! At least he likes them. Gabe and Evie are as far apart as Hyrum and the twins. One day, she was lying on the floor, he screamed,"Send her back to the hospital." When I tried to tell him we couldn't do that he ran up to her and kicked her in the side of the head as hard as possible! I honestly thought she was going to have brain damage or something!

    Hope things are better today!

My two year old is sucking all good parenting skills right out of us! I can't even count the number of meltdowns we've had lately! He is FAR more difficult than the twins right now. I just want my adorable funny little boy back.....
