My tiny preemies are now giants!

    OMG my girls are HUGE!!! Ana is 90th percentile for both height and weight and Meara is almost 50th for height and weight, and BOTH are 97th for their heads :eek:

    I can't believe they were once so tiny and now they are big and healthy and happy... and if I do say so myself, pretty darn smart and funny too!

    Right now they are playing with a pnp and three old diaper boxes, making a bridge and taking turns being the grumpy troll (complete with grumpy troll voice "YOU CAN'T GO OVER MY BRIDGE").

    DH and I were just talking about this same thing last night! How they went from being so tiny too where they are at now. It's amazing!!

    Congrats! That is really great.

    I tell my SIL the same thing all the time. Her twin girls were 2lbs when they were born, and now they are around 30lb a piece at 2yrs old. Wow.
    She is so blessed. . as are all of us. :wub:

    Yeah, great!!! I think in the end, kids will be as big or small as they're supposed to be, no matter how big or small they were at birth ...

    Thanks everyone! They will always be my lil punkins even if Ana is now more than half as big as me (I'm only 5'1" so its not that hard ;) )

    I remember when the preemie clothes looked big LOL ! I have a couple of their preemie sized outfits hanging in their closet and now I cannot believe they were ever that tiny and wore those outfits! When mine were just a few weeks old, my aunt bought a bag of size 1 diapers (she thought they were newborn sized because they were Pampers swaddlers and the package said "new baby")- I thought they would NEVER grow into them!

    it is so amazing how fast they grow!
