My surro twins are here!

Hey! I'm finally back home! I won't write out a full birth story yet, but I wanted to give you an update about me and the babies! Baby A is named Hayleigh, and she was born at 2:11 pm on Sept 24 weighing 5 pounds, 13 ounces, and about 18 inches long. She was delivered vertex. Baby B is named Teagan, and she was born at 2:15, weighing 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and also about 18 inches long. She was delivered breech. Neither one needed to spend any time in the NICU and should be going home with my Intended Parents fairly soon, maybe even tomorrow! The whole family is THRILLED with them!

I'm also doing quite well. I had a small tear which needed a couple of stitches, but is only a little sore - in fact, I haven't taken any pain meds since the birth, although I might take some Tylenol before pumping since I get some stronger afterpains then. I was absolutely EXHAUSTED after I delivered since I had not slept at all before labour started, was not allowed to eat or drink, and hemorrhaged a bit after the birth (which they got under control very quickly) and I imagine my physical condition after being on bedrest for so long didn't help. So I slept on and off for the rest of the afternoon and all night too, and feel pretty good today!

I'll post a birth story after I've rested a bit more! I won't be able to post any pictures though, as per my Intended Parents' request.
