    Hi there!!

I am new to posting on here, but been browsing for awhile now!

I have been feeling a burning sensation in my upper ribs? Anyone else have this? It's mostly when I am laying down...feels like under my bustline is on FIRE?? So so weird & so so uncomfortable!

I HAVN'T HAD A BURNING SENSATION, IS IT HEARTBURN. I DO REMEMBER AROUND 22 WEEKS MY RIBS WERE EXPANDING AND SPREADING SO I GOT A BIT ACHY IN THE RIBS. OTHERWISE I ALWAYS HAVE HEARTBURN BUT I DON'T THINK THATS WHAT YOUR COMPLAINING OF. IT MIGHT JUST BE YOUR RIBS SPREADING OUT, WHICH THEY HAVE TO DO TO MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR WOMB..LOL. IT ONLY BOTHERED ME FOR ABOUT A WEEK. HANG IN THERE.

Welcome! I have been having the same "burning feeling" too! for about 3 weeks now... its under my left boob more then the right, but does go into the middle a little... its so annoying it wakes me up at night! I was told by my doc that its the babies are pushing our organs around.. and its normal... But it doesnt feel like heartburn since i get that too, but this is a burining feeling... and if you touch my skin there it does feel hot. Maybe someone has some insight to a way to relive it... If i push on the spot lightly it will go away for a few moments but it always comes back

  4. I have the same symptom, but I'm now at 37 weeks. I've had it for a long while, probably for the past 6 weeks. It's torture. I cannot wear a bra, any kind of bra, anything that even resembles a bra. My skin is on fire from my bustline to about 4 inches below and sometimes I even have sharp pains. It's the only real complaint that I have, though, so I try to keep telling myself I'm lucky.

I had this from about 20 to 24 weeks. It was on the right side, where my boy likes to cling to my ribs. It didn't help sitting in an office chair all day and it was worse at night. I loosened the band on my bra and had a mountain of pillows in bed and that helped some. It eventually went away for me. But there were several nights in which I could only sleep after taking a tylenol. Hope it gets better.

    Thanks ladies!
I am sooooo glad I am not the only one feeling like I am on fire!
It feels totally different than heartburn or acid reflux (more enjoyable side effects!).
Hopefully it will go away soon!!
