My patriotic daughter

My daughter Piper is in love with Barak Obama. She gets excited when she sees an Obama bumper sticker and can recognize the word Obama or his face. But this week she's taken it to the next level... and it's cracking me up. I bought my girls Obama t-shirts on my last business trip to DC thinking it would be a cute present. Cricket liked getting a gift, but Piper was thrilled. She has insisted on wearing her "Obaba" t-shirt to bed every night since I came back from my trip. She runs down the hallway from the bathroom to her room every night yelling "I find Obaba! Hello Obaba!" as we go in search of her t-shirt. Then she parades around the house telling us "I funny" and laughing that she's wearing an Obama shirt.

I had to post this, because I just love this age. This is so much fun.

Definitely get it on video! :wub: My girls love Obama too! We took a walk on Sunday and they pointed out each and every "Obama flag" in the neighborhood.

 

OMG - that is adorable!!

My boys are also Obama lovers and I am sure Jack (especially) would loooove an Obama t-shirt. We have a door in our house with all kinds of bumper stickers on it, and they both love to go over and touch the Obama stickers while they exclaim his name.
