DH left on deployment this morning. It's going to be several months. It's no longer a secret as it's been all over the news. Part of the surge and all... Of course, it decided to snow again this morning. Got hubby to the base but the weather got really bad really fast. I made it within three miles of my house and couldn't get up the hill... There's a huge drop off where I got stuck, I was fishtailing all over and had to put the car in park and pray that it would stop. An angel of a man from our county PWC stopped and helped me get safely back down the hill, park and then he drove me and all the girls home. Of course, I couldn't transfer all of them to his his truck without falling. I managed to only strain my left ankle, bruise my wrist and pull my neck a little. School was cancelled yet again, so I'm trapped in the house with two bored kids school aged girls and two stinky two year olds who want to go play at preschool but can't. The kids have missed quite a bit of school due to the weather we've been having. They are going to lucky if they are out by mid July at this rate. This may be a very long cruise for me if the weather doesn't get better. I'm looking forward to when the girlies are all in bed tonight and I can cry in a glass of wine.

Hi April, where in WA are you? We are over in Issaquah and we got a foot of snow last week and a few more inches this morning. I totally sympathize about being stuck in the house. I sure hope it all melts soon.

Oh April! [IMG] I am sorry DH is deployed. Thank you, for your family's huge sacrifice...

We are in POrtland and having crazy snow weather as well. I hope its cleared up by tomorrow so all your children can go to school. Have a big glass of wine and put your feet up. [IMG]

I pray that your DH is home soon! [IMG]
