My LO will be 1 on Friday

We're almost that the anniversary of their birth and I've been thinking about it alot lately. Their birth was not what I always envisioned it would be... they were taken from my hospital 2 hours after birth before I even got to hold them. They were not in distress and now I wish I would have demanded to hold them unless there was a medical reason to get them on their way.
I can't believe they are almost a year old! Where did the time go!? I've loved watching them grow into little people who can "almost" walk and talk... but I kinda miss my little tiny babies. Does anyone else feel this way when their kids have a birthday? I look at photos of them and think "Are those really my babies?"

I felt a lot of sadness when my girls approached the 1 year mark! But the second year was even better than the first. Congrats on making it through!

 

:bday: Hannah and Mary!! Congrats on surviving the first year. I love to go back and look at old photos. I cant believe my boys were ever as small as they were.

 

:bday: to Hannah & Mary!! The kids birthdays are always emotional days for me too. I'm so happy to see them growing up happy & healthy and becoming such fascinating people, but it's still a little sad & I wonder where my little babies went!

 

Happy Birthday Hannah and Mary. I am right there with you. My boys will be 1 on Thursday. I am a little sad about it. I was looking at their newborn pictures and it made me sad. But, it is so fun to watch them interact and learn.

Happy Birthday to your cuties! I get sad whenever one of my kids turns 1... w the first one I just had another lol Now knowing the boys are my last it VERY sad. Can we hit a pause button now so they all stay babies??

I did get sad as my boys approached their first birthday. That's why at ten months, we went back to the RE to do an FET. And 17 days before they turned one-we did the FET and by their first birthday-I was pregnant! LOL!

I was actually just looking at some photos of them from this time last year, and I did get sad. I usually do. Doesn't take much for me! LOL! I can't believe my daughter is almost a year old already!

As much fun as the first year was, as well as amazing, the second year is a whole new world! So many new and exciting things are going to happen! Hope they have a wonderful birthday!
