My little shoppers!

I normally do not like shopping. I'm just not the kind of person who likes to browse, but today I had to go to the mall because I needed a new phone. I brought some books for the girls and hoped that the salespeople would be quick. Well my one lil flirt was making conversation with one of the sale "boys" ("This is my book! Its about puppies!!!"), and the other happily tore up her 'map' (a brochure on the different phone plans- they watch too much Dora!).

Then after we left that store, we got cookies and a coffee (for me!) at Starbucks and again they were so patient and did great! We met up with my sister and then hit another store and the girls happily made silly faces in the mirrors while we browsed and shopped.

This must be some milestone because shopping used to be a total nightmare if I stopped the cart/stroller. But now they happily talked to each other, to other people, ate their cookie, commented on our clothing choices ("Mommy thats cute! You need a belt!" My lil fashionista was right!!). This has opened up a whole new world for me. Maybe I can be one of those moms that browses in stores for fun. It was actually fun! /*brag off

 

Anything's fun with good company! Send those little personal shoppers my way sometime, would you? :lol: (I also hate shopping!)

 

Leighann, that's great!! :wub: But hide those credit cards... three ladies on the prowl for clothes could be dangerous. :lol: I'm glad you three had such a nice time and they made you so proud!!

 

Glad you had such a good time! Liam ends up shopping with me a LOT when the twins are in preschool. I'll pick something up and he'll say "No, MAMa, that's too big for you." Really good for my ego!! :laughing:

 

So cute ... ya know, makes me think maybe I should try again ... mine used to whine so much, and always wanted out of the cart/stroller that I just stopped going with them, and just go on my own ...

Sounds like your girls are turning into little ladies. So cute. Glad you have a nice time. I love successful outings.

Oh how fun. It makes shopping fun when the lil ones are good and act like your friend.
I just love to go shopping with my twins when they are in that kind of mood.
