My little hospital stay

Hello all, Well I went in for my ultrasound on Wednesday and the drs appointment on wednesday. I found out the weights so far. The boy is weighing at 1609 grams and the girls is weighing at 1837 grams. Both are doing well. The drs appointment went well as well. I went home and a couple of hours later went into early labour. I have been in the hospital ever since only got home about 4 hours or so ago. I have to go back this Thursday for a day stay so they can monitor their little heartbeats etc. When I was in L & D they gave me a steroid shot and then started me on tablets to stop the contractions. Overall it was a pretty boring experience as the televisions in my ward weren't working so I was extremely bored. The twins are fine though and I am fine. Still waiting for some of the blood test results to come back but they cannot be too worried if they let me go home. My first little experience of labour lol.

It has made me realise that very soon I will be a mum. Within a very short time now as my c section is booked for the 17th of January if they stay in there for that long.

 

So glad you and the babies are doing fine and you are home now

glad to hear the babies and u are fine, the steroid shot is going to help them alot! keep them baking in there and i know we will be hearing your birth story soon!!

 

Thanks everyone. I think I have to start really realising that it is getting close. I keep thinking that they will stay in there forever but eventually they have to come out don't they, I mean they just cannot stay in there forever. lol.

I am looking forward to meeting my little boy and little girl and hopefully I will remember what happens so I can relate it all back to everyone lol.

Sorry your stay was so boring, but at least it wasn't more "eventful"! I hope all is good and continues to stay that way. Keep up the great work! Won't be long now. My 8 year old was 10 days over and let me tell you, I thought she wouldn't ever get out! They will be here before you know it and it will be wonderful. You will remember every bit of pg and l&d! Trust me! You will be telling the twins' children!
