DD had her first day of preschool today and i got to go with her! it was so cute! i just cant believe how fast she is growing up!! i am feeling a little guilty that i maybe took for granted her younger years and now she is so big and independent! i cant believe in three and a half short years i am going to be in this same place with the twins!!! oh how fast time flies!!

    I hope it went well.

I was a mess when my oldest DD went to preschool. She walked in hung her tote bag in her cubby, found something to play with, and said "bye Mommy". :cray: I was so shocked and impressed. I walked out and watched from the window, she was already having a good time. Then I went to the car and cried. :cray:

I'm sure your DD will have a great time in preschool. You are right they do grow up fast!

i got to go with her today since it was their first day, but she did really well. i think i was more nervous than she was. they practiced getting on the bus and she turned to me and said "momma, i am going to sit with meggan, so you dont need to sit with us" i was shocked!

no she doesnt take a bus, they just got on today practicing good behavior. some of the preschoolers to ride the bus, but we only live a block away from the school, so she will only be on for field trips

Oh I was going to say, I didn't know many preschools that had buses. Even for field trips that is great, the parents drive around here for preschool field trips. That is always the highlight though, riding the bus. That is what my DD looked forward to for her field trip for K last year, because she walks to school.
