My last day at work today!

    Well, I had my last doctor's appointment, before the girls arrive, yesterday. I was dialated at 4 cm. I had an ultrasound and both girls are still head down. My doctor was amazed that I went this long - he thought I would have gone into labor before getting induced. Well, I guess I still have today and tomorrow for that but probably not going to happen. I still have not had one contraction. So, I go in at 7:00 a.m. on Friday and they will start the induction.

    The u/s showed that Baby A was 5 lbs. 14 oz. and Baby B was 6 lbs. 3 ozs. but the tech said usually u/s measures a little high and she guesses they will both be around 5 ½ lbs each. I thought they might be bigger but as long as they are healthy that is the main thing and everything looks good so far.

    I will FINALLY be a mom on Friday!!!!

    Congrats :icon_biggrin: I hope I can go that long!!!! Just curious how they will induce you, I had to have petocin with both of my singleton deliveries and I was wondering if that is the typical med used for twins?

    Congrats!!! I never had one contraction either ... and they could very well be in the 6lbs range ... why not?! Mine were close to 8 lbs at 38w2d! Twins are not always "small"!

    Heh my boss got all worries when I told him I was pregnant, he was afraid I wouldn't co,me back, of course I will, but I also told him, I'm gonna work up until I can't anymore..... that was three weeks later, lol at 5 weeks. I was put on bedrest then. He's so gets mad at me for it. :p

    Congrats on the soon to be new additions. Can't imagine how excite you are at the moment. I wouldbe bouncing out of my seat.
