My Introduction

Good morning and Hello ALL! My name is Shelley I am 26 (will be 27 in less than 2 weeks) Married to my wonderful husband 3 years together a lil over 6. I have a wonderful 7 year old step-son Kaleb. And live just outside of Tampa, Florida! We found out last month when I was 8 weeks during an ultrasound we are expecting twins! The moment I peed on a stick I knew that it was twins...I felt it deep down inside. I do not have twins in my family nor was I on any fertility medicine. My husband was poking at me everyday before my 1st ultrasound "I cant wait to go to prove you wrong..there is only one in there" The SECOND she put the u/s wand down she said its TWINS..I immediately started BALLING...she didnt know if I was happy or sad. My husband told her I was happy.

~March 05 early m/c unknown

~March 06 early m/c unknown

~March 28, 07 I delivered my daughter Alexis Faith Ramirez still at 26 weeks, she was diagnosed at my 20 week ultrasound with Triploidy we chose to carry her knowing she was "incompatible with life", (she had 69 chromosomes instead of the normal 46...total fluke we did nothing wrong)

~January 13, 2009 I delivered my son Elisha Enrique Ramirez (pronounced Elijah) at 9:47pm he lived for 43 minutes and he died of Anencephaly (a very sever neural tube defect where there is no brain and no skull or skin from the forhead up) we learned of his diagnosis at our 18 week ultrasound and chose to carry him although the doctors diagnosed him "incompatible with life"

April 19th, 2009 We find out we are pregnant again PRAISE GOD...praying every day that hese twins will be strong and 100% healthy. We beleive God is giving us back a child for each time we obeyed his word and did not terminate our pregnancy, but chose to keep them, and let Him take them in His time.

So sorry about your losses. I know how scary it can be to be carring twins after a loss. I delivered my girls at 22 weeks and I sure miss them each day.
Congrats on the new pregnancy.
