since last night I've noticed my hands and occasionally my feet feel kinda numb...well tingly almost like pins and needles but not full blown. It sorta feels like I should be swollen but I'm not. Is this something to worry about? it doesn't hurt or anything but man its getting annoying.

this is totally normal. i believe it's pregnancy carpel tunnel. i got it all the time especially while i slept...it would wake me up and my arm, hand would feel numb and tingly like they fell asleep. if you're not swollen kudos! i got swollen around week 33 and i was miserable. have you taken your BP lately?

I get it when I find myself rolling onto my back during sleep - I guess I physically still can at this point so I do - but then I end up with numb/tingles....

I used to get that as well throughout my pregnancy. I would say that it is probably normal, but if you are concerned about it, it never hurts to run it past your Dr. Good Luck!

I always noticed mine when I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Whichever side I had been lying on, the other side would be numb, sometimes up to my shoulder. My OB said it would go away with delivery (and it did) but the only thing to do while pregnant is to use a wrist brace. It might be worth getting one if it really bothers you.

    Good luck!

Yep. It's carpel tunnel syndrome. I have it too and it's supposed to go away soon after pregnancy. I didn't get this with any of my other pregnancies. So annoying!

I have carpal tunnel quite bad this time, and with my last singleton too. I would wake up in the middle of the night with not only numb hands but burning hands (mainly the thumb). It's so not fun!

I did just get some wrist braces that my doc told me to get and they work great while you're wearing them. Mine are a bit too big so I'm gonna have to go for a size smaller because either I take them off in the middle of the night in my sleep or they are coming off accidentally LOL! I can't wear them while on the computer at work :( but if I wear them at night it's usually only peeing that wakes me up now instead of the hands heehee. Good luck!

Well I am six weeks PP and I have 3/4 of the feeling back in my hands. It goes away with time, not right away. This was so painful, worse than the pregnancy to me.

I wore wrist braces at night and during the day if my carpal tunnel was bothering me. I was typing alot when I was pg with my daughter. I'm on bedrest now, and haven't really had any swelling at all this time.

I agree with the above poster. It did take awhile after having the baby for it to go away. My hands would be numb while I was trying to hold the baby.. It made me want to cry :( I just had to wear the braces for awhile afterwards.
