My girls are one year old!

I was just reading my post telling you all about when the girls were born, and the details, and I have to come to the realization yet again, what a miracles these little girls actually are, and now a year has past without any trouble or major illnesses (just 3 colds) and I have to thank God for being to incredibly good to me.
A little background: pregnancy was great till 20 weeks when I found out my cervix was only 0.5 cm. Hospital bedrest till 23 weeks, when they did a emergency cerclage, since by that time I was dialated 4 cm. all went well and cerclage held till 33 week when my waterbroke while being at home on bedrest. Babies were born healthy and went home after 2.5 weeks.
I want to thank everyone again for all the support, and prayer, and I know there were quite a few of you. One particular success story comes to mind which gave me incredible hope, I think her name is "babiesforsusan" Your story will give so many people hope, it certainly did me, and make people realize that miracles definately do happen.
Anyway, my life is getting a little easier, the girls sleep throught the night, and are very happy kids, and although it will still be busy, life is a lot easier.
Their birthday was a success, they were in awe with their ballooons, streamer, and all their gifts. and they love their birthday cake!!!
Again I want to thank everyone for great support on here, and I hope to see everyone on the 1 - 5 year forum.

Awww! I am tearing up reading your post. Happy Birthday to your little ones, and congrats to you, too! Your girls are beautiful.

I know what you mean -- I can't believe mine are going to be 6 months soon. My pregnancy wasn't bad, but their arrival was a little dramatic and could have gone very badly, but we got lucky. I feel so, so incredibly blessed....

I remember when you first started posting and how happy I was when you hit 24 weeks...i followed your pregnancy so closely and it was so great you made it to 33 weeks (and delivered on my birthday!).

The girls are adorable and it's just amazing to reflect on the journey. See you in about a month on the 1-4 board.
