My girls are learning the difference b/w boys and girls

I guess b/c we are expecting a boy and the girls are aware of this, they are really into labeling everything as either a boy or girl. Last night when I was listening to them I asked them if they knew the difference b/w a girl and a boy. They said no, so I told them "boys have a penis, girls have a vagina." They didn't seem to care and kept on playing. Oh, and they also are going through this stage where they are scared of everything, especially Lily. She's been claiming to see footprints in their room after we shut off the light.

Last night after we put them to bed, they were playing in their room and we could hear them 30 minutes later, so DH went in their room. When he asked Lily why she wasn't in bed, she said "cuz there's baginas and penis in my bed"

The other day, DH was trying to get a look at a rash Ivy was getting down there, and she yelled, "Daddy, get your hands out of my vagina!" :blush: :laughing:

Mine are also obsessed with figuring out the gender of EVERYTHING. Even apples are a boy apple or a girl apple.

My boy girl twins love to talk about their differences and my daughter often says she has a monkey, elephant or some other animal in her "gina"
