My girls are here!

    My girls arrived via c-section Dec 13. Erynn Nicole was born at 8:37 am weighing 6 lbs 8 ozs, and 19.5 inches, and Abygail Rose was born at 8:38 am weighing 6 lbs 3 ozs and 19 inches long. Both had some difficulties breathing at first, and had to be on oxygen and not leave the nursery until after 7 that evening, but they have been in the room with us since without any problems. They detected a murmur on Erynn yesterday, but said they don't hear it today. I am trying to breast feed both girls, but they are so tired- they latch on then fall asleep very quickly, but we are slowly making progress.
    I am doing ok- recovering from a c-section is a bit more difficult than I though. I lost ALOT of blood during the surgery- found my hemoglobin levels went from 12 to 6, so I am getting blood transfusions today. Hopefully this will give me some energy! The pain is a bit more than I thought it would be, but I am getting up and moving and that is helping. We are still in the hospital- but I am guessing I will go home Sunday or Monday.
    I hope everyone else is doing well!!!

    Congratulations. They are beautiful and wonderful weights. I hope you have a speedy recovery and the pain subsides quickly.

    They are beautiful! I haven't been on ts in a week and I'm so glad I picked today to check!! I'm so happy your girls are such great weights! Don't worry about the murmur, they found one on Ryan at the 2 month check up and they said it goes away...very common. Give some hugs to those precious babies for us!
