My girls arrived on November 11 at 10:29 and 10:34 am. I woke up at about 12:30am with a wet bed. I couldn't believe my water had broken. I woke up my husband and told him (he was sleeping on the couch) and the frantic getting ready started. My mom was actually in town and staying with us because it was also my birthday. So, DH woke up my mom and told her while I got in the shower. I did not want to go 3 days without a shower. After we all got ready, we headed to the hospital. My step-dad stayed at our house with our son. They got me all hooked up at the hospital and said the babies looked great. I was 2cm dilated and about 50% effaced, but the babies were still pretty high. So our plan was to just wait a while and see how I progressed and start pitocin if needed. I got my epidural a couple of hours later, but it only worked on my right side, so they had to do it a second time. It worked that time! They started the pitocin after my epidural was working, just to get things going. I went from 4cm to 9cm in an hour! The next thing I knew I was pushing! It happened pretty fast after I got my epidural straightened out.

Olivia Cheyenne was born at 10:29am and came out crying. It was the best sound in the world.
After Olivia was born, Baby B decided to float around since she had so much more room, so my doc performed a breech extraction and pulled her out by her feet. It was pretty uncomfortable, but Isabelle Faith made her entrance at 10:34am.
They both weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces and measured 18 and a half inches! Even their head and chest measured the same!

They both were doing beautifully and breathing fine. We had to stay a couple of extra days in the hospital to make sure the girls were eating well. They nurse sometimes, but mostly I am pumping to feed them. We aren't using any formula, which I'm so happy about. I'll be really glad when they are nursing instead of having to pump all the time.

I hope everyone is doing well and greatly appreciate all of the support and advice. Good luck!

Congratulations! It's great to hear such good stories! (even though I imagine the breech extraction wasn't that fun).
