My girls are here!

OK and here is my birth story... ok so Monday I was having aches in my butt after walking around campus all day and was feeling weird.. I just felt out of myself.. I told myself if I didnt feel better I would go to my doctor and see hwta was happening.. well the next morning I got the kids ready for school and laid back down after they were shipped off and feel asleep.. i didnt wake up until 4 pm! and my throat and tongue were so swollen i thought i was gonna suffocate so i emailed a few people and let them kknow the situation... while tehre at the er i realized i hadnt felt the babies really moving so they monitored them and wouldnt ya know i was havign contractions eveyr 2-3 monutes and i couldnt feel them.. the doctor said i wasnt in active labor and didnt even check me but i told him i think he should because my last babies came natural becaus ei arrived at the hospital too late .. damned near complete so another dr decided to check me and i was 3 cm... she said they would wait and check em again in two hours... two hours later i was 4.5cm.. she thought sh ewas losing it because still i couldnt feel a thing... and she thought she was insane lol.. so another dr checked me and my water started leaking so i was admitted at 10 pm... when i got to a l & d room i slept and joked until 6 am and got my epi in case i would a csection... the next few hours drug by and i was anxious and tired.. so id ecided to get some real rest... at 4:30 the nurse burst through the dorr sayign they couldnt get the baies heart rate and they needed me to roll over well thanks to the epi i couldnt so once they got the babies stabilized tehy checked me and i was complete... i was welled to teh OR and set up for a vaginal delivery... i pushed for ten minues and aaliyah was born and another ten and alaynah was born!!! born came out screaming and ready to eat!! i didnt have any tears and teh baies didnt have any nicu time but because they were so small they had to stay and extra day to wean themseleves off teh warmer and so far they are on track to come home tomorrow or sunday!!! Aaliyah wieghed 4.8 and Alaynah weighed 4.13.

Congratulations!! It sounds like a scary experience, but so glad that everything turned out well and that your girls are having a short NICU stay!!

You're welcome and Thanks for asking . They're beautiful, healthy and going through a growth spurt. They're gaining weight well and up at night a lot to eat. They're precious.
