My girls are here! (with pictures)

Sat morning on the 21st of March I just was not feeling right. After 2 hospitalizations with preterm labor the thought of being stuck in there again crossed my mind. My husband insisted that I go in after noticing baby A was so low it looked like she was coming through my ab muscles. At the hospital I was put through the normal tests on placed on the monitors , I was contracting though they did not hurt much. But after being checked for dialation and baby position they came into let me know they planned on a c-section that night. I was 7 cm and 75%effaced with baby "A" in the breach position. A difference of only 1 cm from my last preterm admission but too much to send home . So at 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant my girls were coming out!

They c-section went well though I was terrified it was my 4th pregnancy and my 1st c-section. And not too soon the exam kicked me into full on labor with painful cntx coming a minute a part! They girls came out via c-section as planned and went right away to another room, I never even saw them(very disappointed). I didn't see them until my husband brought in a picture the next day. Both babies first went into the nursery with very good birth weights but later showed signs of breathing problems and feeding problems but overall healthy. They were moved to the NICU stepdown and stayed there for the next 11 days finally they were able to come home last night April 1st. So though we were not able to meet for the first time for over 24 hrs I am happy they are healthy and eating very well today. They still have not reached their birth weight but are gaining everyday. And now that the hard part has started and I am so excited to be not sleeping for the first time in years !!!

Great! Mine were also born at 35 weeks 2 days and weighed those EXACT weights! Crazy!

Isn't it wild that you can tell they're identical already!?
