My first ultrasound is today!

And I'm a nervous wreck! I can't help but be worried about all the things that could've gone wrong. I'm trying not to stress, but its hard. I am also super excited! Chris has never done the whole ultrasound thing, so I really just can't wait to see his face.

I do have a late afternoon appointment, so I have to work all day before we even go. I think its going to be a long day! :lol:

I think it's normal to be nervous before u/s's... or at least I am always nervous before them. :blush: It's also so exciting :woohoo: I can't wait to hear how great things are going. Next time you better schedule it earlier. :lol:

 

Woohoo! Good luck this afternoon! And I too was always always always worried before the u/s. I remember especially with Annabella. She was a singleton so I didn't have a ton of ultrasounds, and I'm always worried they are going to find something at the big u/s. Alas, all was well!

And I agree with Liz...make an earlier appt next time! :laughing:

Well, not good news.

They saw a gestational sac, but nothing else. No yok sac or fetal pole or anything. They are doing blood work and we'll know what that says tomorrow. Right now I think its still a "threatened miscarriage" until the labs come back. But I think most of us know its not good.

I'm sad and really disappointed, but I'm trying to focas on the positive- our wedding and honeymoon and the fact that I at least ovulated on my own.

Unfortunately we don't have good news. We are still in a wait and see stage. My hcg didn't come close to being as high as it should be. Last Thurs it was 11,425. Two days ago (this Thur) it was only 15300 or so. They still want me to go in this coming Thur for a follow-up ultrasound and I'm suppose to continue taking the progesterone. But we are not hopeful. I was told that if I start bleeding over the weekend to go to the ER.

I'm scared of what to expect. I'm sad. But overall, we are just trying to stay positive that we can try again soon.

I'm sorry! I had a blighted ovum in 2008 where we only saw a sac and nothing else. I had blood work done every other day just to make sure it was true that I was going to m/c. It was a hard time for me. :grouphug:
