My first peri appointment

I just wanted to let everyone know how things have been going for us. It has been a couple of weeks since I have been online. We made the big move from SC to TN. We are still looking for a house and the moving company will move our things when we find somewhere. In the mean time I am staying with family and they have be more helpful than I could imagine. I went to my first peri appointment this past tuesday and everything went great. I am having lots of contractions, but still not dilating at all. He told me that they usually deliver twins at 38 weeks and we will discuss induction next week if need be. They did an ultrasound and the babies were A-6lbs 10oz and B-6lbs 2oz (at 36weeks and 3days)!!!!!!!! I was expecting them to be about 5 to 5 1/2lbs so I was really shocked. I was a little sad that baby B decided to flip again and is not vertex anymore. They said he is in a ball so kind of transverse and kind of breech. They couldn't really decide! Baby A has been vertex since the very beginning!!! I am so happy that they are doing so well and that I get to meet them soon. I can't wait. Thanks for all the support during the pregnancy. You are all wonderfull!!!!!

 

I am glad the move went well... you are doing great it sounds like. TN is such a beautiful place isn't it? I am only 30 mins from the TN line. Near Celina, TN.

36 weeks is a great milestone!! Congrats!!

 

Wow! I cannot imagine having to move that late in your pregnancy! Glad to hear it has gone well! Hope you find a house soon! Congratulations on making it this far, great job momma, can't wait to see you in FY!

 

Great job cooking those boys! You're in the home stretch now! Don't worry baby B can still flip back. My baby B had flipped breech at the u/s at 36 weeks, then at 37 weeks she was back vertex. I went into labor 4 days later on the day that we would've set the induction date.

 

I hope you find a place real soon but glad to hear how supportive your family has been in the meantime and the move went well.
