My favorite warning labels

Okay, I have started really getting a kick out of all of the labels companies now put on their products to cover their butts. Our PNP has a label that says "You are responsible for appropriate adult supervision" and the Cosleeper says "Do not leave baby unattended"! Um ... people?

But I saw my favorite one today. We bought an extra nasal aspirator, because it is stuffy land around here, and I noticed on the back that it warns not to leave the child alone during use. I got a big kick out of picturing my 5 month olds sticking the thing up their noses and sucking the snot out on their own.

I still find it amazing that all plastic bags say "this is not a toy" It is scary there are parents out there who would considerate plastic bags as toys! ahhhhhhh

 

Yeah, every warning label out there represents some idiot and a lawsuit.

 

I noticed the boppies have warnings on them along with a tag that says to read the warnings before EACH use???

I used to have a baby bathtub with a built in seat that was designed to sit in the kitchen sink. Two of the safety warnings were:

"Do not use on an elevated surface."
and
"Do not use as a crib."

Um, ok.
