So Baby A is breech and has never been vertex, She is kinda lying across my cervix, and baby B is on top of her, so i have basically given up all chances of her flipping, yea i know you never know, but they are all twisted there,

My doc says that he wont schedule anything early because it's still considered early and there is no real medical reason to do a c-section. he wants me to wait to go into labor myself and then he will schedule something.

I would feel much more comfortable knowing that if i was going to have a C, i can just walk in there on the given day and get things over and done with, instead of having to worry bout starting labor, rushing to the hospital and then having to be taken for a C.

Did anyone else have this experience with doc not scheduling something in advance, or baby A flipping so late in the game?

 I have no experience, because I had an emergency c/s. I hope things go smoothly for you and you are not caught off guard by the sequence of events.

My OB is opposite to yours he said no way for vaginal delivery and schedule me c-section right away. 2 months in advance. with twins they preffer to take the babies out in 37-38 weeks.

My doc was also the opposite.. she scheduled a c-section but is still crossing her fingers for baby A to flip. I would insist on scheduling one, myself.. it's a HUGE relief to have an end date in sight!

My babies were lying just as yours are. I was scheduled for 38 weeks(at my 36 week appt), but ended up having them at 37 due to pre-e. Is there a point that he will schedule one, week-wise? I would definitely want to know when they will schedule one if you do not go into labor.

He told me if I go to 40 weeks, then we can discuss something,
    Thanks a lot !!!

I dont want to call his bluff by saying EVERYONE else I "know" is getting scheduled for 38 weeks. I guess in a way it's good that he doesnt want to rush into surgery but still.

    So 2X a week,

That's great. Do you have NST's or does the peri just do a BPP every time?

Yes, definitely don't mention that all your friends on the internet are getting scheduled c/s!! My OB rolls her eyes every time I ask for clarification about something from one of my boards! ;)

My OB is also the opposite- she scheduled a c/s for 38w6d. I just got my date this week, so about five weeks in advance. Both babies are head down, but OB says she only cares about what Baby A's position is.

I did have a c/s with DD FTR.

See, I would prefer to start labor on my own. At least then I would feel like the babies would be telling me they are ready to come out. Also, I would/will be praying every day that they would flip for a natural delivery.

I haven't been able to have this conversation with my doc yet to know what he will say. We'll see next Thurs.

My doctor and I discussed from the get-go having a c-section. He would not schedule it very far in advance because he said there is a lot to take into consideration with twins. At 33w4d he did schedule the c-section. I am all set for 5/29 (37 weeks).

I am also a lot more comfortable knowing that there is a date scheduled. Especially considering that no matter what, we are going the c-section route.

My baby B was vertex and breech my Ob didn't schedule a C-but i was in the OR prepped and ready in case of an emergency-I do wish from personal experience that i had that C-section because Eve came out not breathing at all it wasnt a cord problem but a build up of excess mucus or something--They did a forceps/breech delivery-dangerous but in our case we were fortunate they were able to resist-ate her and CPAP her.

both of mine were transverse( laying long ways instead of head up or down) this sounds more like the postition yours in than breech. Have you talked to both docs? Is your obtuse a high risk doc?

It sounds weird that he won't even consider it until 40 weeks. Seriously? Does this doctor not understand the odds of "early" labor with multiples? You need to have Plan B, heck sometimes plan C.

DD (Baby A) was breech and did not move. DS (Baby B) was transverse. They kind of made a "T". I did have a scheduled c-section that moved twice due to PIH, but my water broke naturally with Baby A, so I had an emergency c-section. There was NO way she was coming out butt first. I immediately started contracting. I will also add that because she was breech and sitting in my pelvis that she was tough to pull out when they went in after her and had quite a bit of bruising. She became jaundiced as a result and had to have light treatment.

Oh, original date was 37 weeks, then 36. Water broke 10 hours before the reschedule, so I went into natural labor and delivered at 36w0d.
