my dd fell in pool

Hi to all,
My dd fell in our inground pool last evening. We were all outside by the pool and the twins were playing on the pool deck in their life jackets of course. My dd reached over the side of the pool for a toy and head first fell into the pool. My dh jumped right into to get her. She was fine the life jacket flipped her right onto her back, but everyone's hearts stopped for a minute. I was glad the life jackets did what they were supposed to. Her twin brother was freaking out the whole time, the poor little guy. It is actually more upsetting to me now as every time I think of it I feel like throwing up.....Please everyone be extra mindful around water this summer, it only takes a minute for a tradgedy to occur....

 

Oh you poor thing I would have been freaking out lifejacket or not!!

Yeah, I am investing in some of those vests!! We tried them when we were in CA recently and they actually need them more outside the pool than in (w/you) because they will go for that ball that blows into the pool etc.... Martin tried to reach a ball in the hot tub and splash! Just like that!! Thank god another Mommy was right there!

I just bought some life jackets for my kiddos as well. I'm sooooo glad she is o.k!! That would've scared me to death.
