My Day today... Visit to Labor and Delivery...

This morning i felt a little bit of rushing fluids... So i did the usual thing.. Called the OB Department and they told me to go to Labor and Delivery. So off to Labor and Delivery we went. I was having some Contractions too... Well we get there and they put the contraction monitor on and we wait for the Dr to come. My membranes didnt break... :yahoo: but i was having some small contractions. They have not put me on bedrest, but told me to take it easy.

Heart rates are fine and the babies were moving all over the place (so i guess no distress...)

 

WHEW what a relief..Im glad the babies are staying put for a bit longer...I hate those gushes of stuff..ugh so annoying..lol

 

I just wanted to let you know that around that time discharge (sorry TMI) started to get really thin and white and there seemed to be a lot of it. It has increased through the whole pregnancy. I know I kept worrying about leaking fluid and every time they checked they told me it was just cervical fluid. Glad everything turned out ok, and chances are you will continue to have BH contractions so try not to worry too much, I'm glad you went and got checked. Take it easy and try and rest as much as you can when you can.

I can so relate. I've been to L & D twice this week with contractions. I have an "irritable uterus" due to the twins and severe hyperemesis. I'm now on limited bedrest and on iv at home with potassium and zofran through the iv too. Lay low and drink up.

Wow, how scarry! I am glad that everything is ok. I am almost 28 weeks and haven't had to go to L&D yet...knock on wood. I worry when I feel a little fluid also, but I think it is the babies pushing on my bladder.

WTH? No phone call? I didnt know this???? You need to not be walkin around malls for 4 hrs girlie!!! Do what the Dr said and TAKE IT EASY!!!!!
