My boys arrived 12/28

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to check in quickly and let you know that my boys arrived on 12/28 by c-section. They are 13 days old now and we're all home and happy to be here. They were born at 36 weeks and 1 day. Owen weighed 7 lbs at birth and Micheal was 6 lbs 3 oz. Ironically, the bigger twin needed to stay in NICU for 9 days due to premature lung issues. It was such a long 9 days. We met so many other families who are in there for weeks or months and my hat is really off to them. It was really tough. But now we're all healthy and home and big sister is eager to "help" all over the place. I feel so lucky to have 3 healthy kids! I'm truly grateful for allthe wonderful support I received here throughout my pregnancy. Thanks to all and good luck to everyone!

Our kids share the same birthday! We had a 12 day NICU stay for my boy due to low birth weight.

Many many congratulations Amy! My boys are 6 days older than yours and I also had them via C-section. How is your recovery coming along? I hope you are doing well.
Your boys were a bit bigger than mine. Mine were 5lbs 10 ozs and 4lbs 13 ozs. We are all home too.

Congratulations Amy! I'm glad everyone is home and doing well. My larger twin also had to stay in the NICU for 9 days due to premature lungs so I understand. Ainsley was huge compared to the other babies in there so I'm sure Owen looked the same way. I hope everyone is adjusting well to the new babies and that you are able to get some rest every now and then. Congrats again!

 

CONGRATS ON YOUR TWIN !!! I hope you are recovering well from the section, too. I too had my larger twin need more intervention at birth than the smaller one. (no NICU just bilights and latch on probs).

Have fun with them! Glad the new big sis is a real help too

Congratulations on their arrival! Sounds like you'll have fun with your little 'helper'. Sorry about your NICU stay, but even if you'd been there for weeks, that time would fade away soon enough!

How lovely! Congratulations you´ve made it and everyones doing fine now after NICU.

My eldest daughter also has the same birthday as you kids and akamemes, she´s five now, and I can tell you, christmas parties never stop - we have parties on 25th and 26th with all family members, then there´s one tiny break to prepare the birthdayparty, then birthday - and hey, let´s do the new years party then! But it´s fun!
