My boys are/will be home!!!

Hello! I am new to this forum so I will give ya'll alittle background. I had my boys, Braeden and Cainen, at 27w3d due to TTTS. Finally after 81 days in the NICU, Braeden came home. Cainen should also be home tomorrow, after 83 days. I am so happy, and exhausted at the same time!!!! Braeden only has an apnea monitor, and after 3 weeks of no "dings" I can turn it off. Cainen will also have an apnea monitor and home O2. Besides being a preemie, Cainen suffered severe PVL and already shows signs of CP in his legs, actually he was showing signs a few days after birth. For this he wears braces off and on throughout the day. I am so happy to have graduated to this forum!!!

Congratulations!!! I can imagine that it must be a relief and a little scary at the same time!!! We are here when you are ready. Don't worry if you can't get on much!

I guess the "good news" is that they'll be on a great schedule by now!! The NICU got mine on a schedule in 11 days, so I imagine they will be on a solid schedule too!!

Please feel free to continue visiting the NICU forum. I know they would love to have your support in there as well!!

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad they're home! Life will be so much easier for you now. We were only there 3 wks, but it was so exhausting!

Can't wait to get updates on how you all are doing. Have fun with all three boys!

I am glad to hear you will soon have two boys home! We were so thrilled to bring ours home after 70 days in the NICU!! It just makes life so much easier. Hang in there!
