MY BOYS ARE HERE!

Hi all!
I have to make this short and sweet.My story started on the 5th I woke up with a little blood in my panties(sorry tmi),and called my peri.He told me to go to L&D to get checked.

I arrived about noon and was 4 cm ,so I called my doula (hubby still gone at this point),and it was game on...by the time she got there (10 mins) I was feeeling it pretty good,and we wanted to get an epidural placed "just in case"so they put me back in my room,and I got my epiduaral.Feelihg beeter now.i was still 4 maybe 5.

2 hours later I went to 6,and baby B KIAN,was having d cells,and my peri was called.One hour later we were in the OR for our section.It was scary,but Im glad now I did it as KIAN is having a little hard time now in the NICU.

At 1051 pm KIP arrived followed by KIAN at 1052 Pm both weighing 4.9 WOW

They did great the first 48hrs,and they KIAN started having apnea episodes ,and that go him addmitted to the NICU,ehich is where hes been since,
He has been doing well,but to be safe they want to keep an eye on him.

Monday they ordered a n EEG that showed he was having some activity in the left temperal lobe of his brain(seizures)so now we are awaiting the word of the specialist.All of the issues are being caused from his early arrival,worst case he will have to be on meds for a while untill he is apnea free.

We going home with a monitor,and hopefully he will grow out of it.

I could not bring one home without the other so Im staying at the Ronald McDonald House here on the Florida hospital campus.
we are looking to be discharged by the end of the week,unless we are under a hurricane warning which is possible with BILL in the tropics.

The NICU road is long but Im so lucky I have relized by my stay there.

Both boys are taking their feed from the breast and have been since my milk came in 2 days postpartum,and the NICU staff is awesome to let me bring KIP in to feed KIAN tandem,and hes been doing alot better now that he sees his brother every 3 hours!

my recovery is in day 11,and im not going to post my feeling on the c section recovery process because its toooo much!

I have so much more to the story,but Im off to feed my other man!
