my boys are 8 months old today!

wow! what an adventurous 8 months it has been! they're getting to be so fun! they are learning to crawl, working on sitting up, and love rolling all over the floor! they're great kids! and they're so funny together! they'll face each other and try to eat each others' faces, and they just think it's great fun! they take each others' toys all the time, and they don't even care that someone's taking their toy, they just take the one the other one has. it's so funny! and I can't believe we're already 2/3 of the way through the first year. Last night DH and I realized that they've been out for about as long as they were in, and decided that it was definatley harder the last 12 weeks they were in and the first 12 weeks after they were out. :lol: other than that the rest of it has been pretty livable. they have just been getting to be so much fun lately, I hope they're always this much fun! there's just nothing like 2 babies who "play" by stealing each others' toys, and trying to eat each others' faces.

anyway, I haven't been on much (too busy chasing rolling babies hehe) but I wanted to give a quick update on us. I'll have to post some pics when I get a chance.

Favorite part of having twins....seeing them smile and giggle at each other. It melts me!

 

I'm right behind you, mine will be 8 months next Monday! I get so sad wondering where the past eight months went, and wish I had taken the time to cherish them more when they were so tiny,....but I was too tired!

My favorite part of twins, I guess at this point is seeing how two people born at the same time, from the same womb, from the same genes, can be SO different! I'm looking forward to seeing them discover each other more, I still don't think they're THAT aware of each other, although Lilly just seems to get upset anytime Owen is near her!

They are getting to be so much fun, and I love watching learn new things every day!

I can't believe it either goes by way to quick..I can't remember the infant stage of it or how we even got thru it all..it's all been kinda a blur...I look back at pictures and I can't remember it and it hasn't been all that long ago...


But I'm loving this stage, Makayla started to crawl the other day and Melina rolls where she needs to get to...they just love eachother. In thier highchairs since they are side by side eachother they hold hands it's just way to cute..and they give kisses now...you ask for kisses and they lean in and open thier mouth it melts my heart everytime.

I can't wait to see what all the other stages have in hold for us!!!!

 

I can't believe your boys are 8 months already---I remember being on the expecting board with you like it was yesterday! I'm so happy you're loving this stage. I think every week/month just gets better and better. Right now I'm loving the giggles and grins they give me everytime I walk in the room, reach in to pick them up and snuggle them.

Eight months - crazy! I, too, remember you from Expecting; where DID the time go? Great to hear how much fun you're having.

 

It's so fun to watch when they start to interact with each other! Glad you are all doing well.

I was just looking through some of the things we got at the hospital when they were born and getting teary!
the last 8 months has gone by SO fast!!!

it is so neat to watch them interact and do new things everyday! one day we will be looking back on these days wondering where the time went!
