My Birth Story

Hello everyone,

I haven't written in 3 weeks or so. I have been taking care of my new babies.

Everything is wonderful. The birth was very easy because I had a scheduled c-section on January 16th at 38 weeks. The recovery was good too. My dr was absolutely amazing!!!

My little boy -Chase Christian- was born at 1:15 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. My little girl -Gabrielle Lynn- was born at 1:17 pm. She weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 20 1/2 inches. They were almost the same!!! I knew they were big cause I was huge!!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your support during the pregnancy. When I get some more time (which probably won't happen anymore), I will be back to help all of you ladies get through the pregnancy.

Congrats!!! Good sizes, feels a lot lighter now does it? Mine were also only 1 oz apart (7lbs11oz and 7lbs10oz).

Holy cow those were some big babies!! It sounds like you are all doing well! I can't wait to hear all your words of advice as you get used to being a twin mom!

Thanks for all the posts!! I rested a lot. No shopping or walking around for a long time. Plus, I drank lots of skim milk (probably a gallon and a half a week). I really think the protein helped the babies.
