I posted about Caleb and Silas's arrivals down in the Expecting Forum, but I just thought I'd come up here and officially declare, MY BEDREST IS OVER!

I'm up late tonight (the babies are at the hospital in NICU still) here at home on my first night because I felt anxiety when I tried to go get in my side of the bed in our room and go to sleep. I just wanted to sit there and cry and/or hyperventilate. It's really bizarre. Very psychological. My poor DH having to put up with me. I need my rest really badly, but I can't get it up there.

They'd left my bedside set up the same way it was while I was on bedrest at home. We are going to have to rearrange the room now or something.

I hope you ladies and your families are all doing wonderfully. . . hope to catch up soon!

Emily, you did a great job. I can totally relate to the room being the same. yes do whatever you need to do, because those two precious babies are coming home very soon!

You are a great mommy. And please know that all the emotions you are feeling are completely normal! Tell your husband, especially if he is like mine that you are just going through an emotional rollercoaster and that you need him more than ever. Sometimes they take it personal and feel like they have done something wrong.

Please keep us posted on the boys progress!

Congrats! I know it's hard but, while the babies are in the hospital try to get all the rest & sleep you can so, you can heal and be ready for their arrival at home (which will be soon!) I didn't do it while my babies were in the hospital and I wish I would have rested so from experience I want to pass the advise on to you.
Take Care & Keep us posted!
    You did a great job!

Congrats Emily! I know what you mean, I was a wreck the first night home from the hospital and pretty much every night for the 5 weeks my girls were in the NICU. It'll get easier, just hang in there!
