My beautiful twins are here!

My beautiful children are here! I was scheduled to be induced on Friday, June 19th at 7:00am at 37 weeks 5 days. Thursday, I started to get a lot of contractions, but nothing regular. I went to bed at midnight and woke up at 1:30am. The contractions kept getting stronger and more regular. At five, I decided it was time to go to the hospital. By the time I got ready and we got the van packed, I got to the hospital at 6:00am. I was dilated to a 3 with contractions about every 3-4 minutes.

They gave me an epidural about 9am and told me that I was dilated to a 4. I am a big fan of epidurals now. From there, I was fully dilated and ready to push by 11am. They wheeled me into the operating room at 11:11am. My little boy Christopher was born at 11:33am and he weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces and he was 19 1/2 inches long. Then at 11:43am, Charlotte came weighing 5 pounds 9 ounces and measuring 19 1/4 inches long. I passed the placentas at 11:53am. We are all doing great and I do not believe that life could be any better. I am so happy! I am going to try to post a picture of my two miracles.
