My baby is walking!

Amelia is taking steps on her own! :banana: She is so proud of herself. I don't know if it really counts as walking, she's still pretty much hanging on to the furniture, but instead of crawling from item to item she is now taking steps on her own. I love how proud of themselves they get, it's so cute! When we take them to store, if we let them sit in the front of the cart they are so proud of themselves, they really think they are big shots! Now when we bring Amelia in the swimming pool she doesn't want to be in the floatie and she doesn't want us to hold her. She thinks she is a big shot that can do everything on her own.

So I guess it's not long before she prefers walking everywhere to crawling, and Lily will be right behind her. It's like Amelia hits the mobility milestones first and then once Lily sees how Amelia does it, she does it too. They are only 10 months old, I thought I'd have a few more months of crawling. I get so emotional every time they do something that makes them seem more grown up.

Anyway I just wanted to share and say Yay Amelia!

WTG! We are also starting to take our first steps on our own! It's so exciting, but upsetting because they grow too fast!!

 

WTG Amelia!!!!!!!!!! DD started at 10 months and DS 3 weeks behind her. It took DD a bit to stand from the floor instead of pulling herself up it was then that she preferred walking. Let us know what she decides to do....LOL...
