My baby is here!

    Callum Matthew was born on March 5th and weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and 20 inches long. He is absolutely amazing! I started having regular contractions at midnight on the 5th and headed to the hospital shortly after because we live an hour from where we were delivering. I labored for 6 hours in the hospital and spent a little over an hour pushing. My contractions stalled out a little after dilating to 10 so it took a bit to get him out. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced, but the recovery has been much better than my c-section. I was so glad to have a supportive doctor and hospital in regards to my VBAC. We are home now and I am so in love! My girls are smitten as well. I'm having a lot of guilt about being a mom to all of them at once, but I know it's a transition period. I'm just so grateful to have such beautiful and healthy children, a supportive family, and my husband has been an absoutely superstar and doesn't have to go back to work for another 16 days!

    Awesome! I'm a little late to the thread but you are in the same place I hope to be in the next few days...really hoping for the VBAC to work out for me as well. Congrats.
