My babies are in their own room!

 My babies are in their own room tonight! And in their own cribs ! We've been struggling with them waking each other in the co-sleeper because they'll try to kick their legs and it shakes the whole co-sleeper and wakes their brother up. I took Chase out of the co-sleeper to put him in his crib and Ethan fall asleep almost instantly. I'm going to be up all night worrying about them in there by themselves. I can't believe that my babies are so big that its time for them to be in their own room. Time is seriously going way too fast!

Awww! Momma! Isn't it crazy how fast time flies?!!? I'm sure they will do beautifully in their rooms tonight! You can always go in there and stare at them! It's what I did!!!

Awww! I'm a selfish mommy- I could not WAIT to kick them out into their room (at 4 months).

Mine were ALWAYS in their own rooms, so don't feel bad. I couldn't get a wink of sleep with their night noises, and there just wasn't room in our bedroom for a co-sleeper or bassinets.

Meaghan- I totally kept going in and staring at them. They did look so peaceful, especially with their crib soothers casting a soft glow on them

Michelle- I never thought I'd keep them in my room this long or be so attached to having them in our room. DH feels the way you do and was excited to have our room to ourselves last night

They did well overall! Chase normally fusses for a little before falling asleep and I usually have to go back up several times to get him to fall asleep. Well the crib soother worked wonders! He didn't fuss at all and fell asleep by the time it turned off! The only problem was that I fed them together in the Boppies at 3:30am and I think Ethan thought that meant it was playtime since they normally play after I feed them in the Boppies during the day. When they were in our room, I used to feed them while sitting in our bed. It took another 30 minutes to get him to go back to sleep.

Awww.. I stared at mine all the time too. I still do!

Working out the night feedings is a bit of a challenge once they're in their own room, but the tradeoff in peaceful sleep for everyone is well worth it!

That's a big step!! I am sure they will be very happy in their own room (and you too). I still go in every night before I go to bed to check on my gals and it warms my heart to see them sleeping so peacefully (and usually on their bellies with their bums sticking up in the air). So adorable!!
