My Babies are here

Went in for a foley on Monday night and was going to be induced on Tues. (at 37 weeks 2 days) Well we got home at 10:00pm and my water broke at 2:30am. We rushed out to the hospital and when we got there I was already 5cm. They were trying to give me an epidural, but I was contracting so hard that they hardly got it in, after it was in they checked me and I was 9 cm. So I had not started to feel any effect from the epidural when I started to push out Baby A, she was born at 5:34 weighing 7lbs 1oz next was a breech Baby B (luckily I the epidural had started to kick in) was born at 5:42 weighing 7lbs 4oz.

A total labour of about 3 hours, but thankfully I got to have a vaginal birth and we went home the next day with 2 good breastfeeders. Now if I can only get them to sleep at night

Congratulations...did you have two girls or one of each? Good sizes too!

Congratulations on the babies. You did get lucky on the delivery. I am hoping and praying that mine are vaginally. I do not want a c-section. You were also not in labor long. Good luck on the babies.
