My Babies are HERE!!

I am so pleased to announce the arrival of my b/g twins. I ended up doing a c-section, which was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was 35 weeks 2 days and was having quite the blood pressure problems and protein in the urine, so they decided it was time to deliver. On Thursday, January 25, 2007...Dalaney Jade came into the world screaming at 7:16pm weighing in at 5lbs exactly and 18in long. Her brother Dalton Cade came into the world screaming at 7:17pm weighing in at 5lbs 4oz and 19in long. No NICU time at all. They were taken down to special care for a few hours to make sure there were no problems, and they were perfect. We all came home today. They are doing wonderful!! They are already on a good feeding schedule. Every 3-4 hours and they eat at the same time. Hopefully tonight will go as smooth as today went. Well...Off to get a few things taken care of...They are due to eat soon and then it is bed time for mommy!!

Congratulations! Sorry to hear about the predelivery issues but it sounds like everyone is doing great which is wonderful! Don't forget to take care of yourself!

Congratulations!!! Great to hear no NICU time! My boys were born at 35 wks + 2 days and they had 10 days. Kudos to you on the great feeding schedule!!

I also see you live in South east Michigan. I also live in Michigan. I live in Richmond which is about 50 minutes north of Detroit. I think I live pretty close to you. Well i guess it depends just how south you are. Its nice to see people on here that live so close to me. I also met someone who lives in Harrison Twp on here. Wouldn't it be fun to all get together sometime with all our babies. And the fun thing is they are all pretty close in age. I don't know anyone with twins so it's nice to see some ladies that live close to me.
