My Babies are Here.....

    Although my c-section was scheduled for July 22nd, my little ones decided they didn't want to wait.....

    Thursday I spent the day finishing up the nursery and about 1/2 way through the day I noticed that my belly was considerably lower then when I had started the day. I didn't pay much attention since I knew I could still go the additional 2 weeks. 6:50 AM Friday morning I got up to go to the bathroom and noticed that although I had finished peeing there we still fluid coming out...interesting. It wasn't a "gush" just more of a trickle. Since this had happened with my first pregnancy as well I knew that my water had just broke. I call my DH at work to let him know it was time and he needed to come get me.

    We arrived at the hospital around 8:00 am. Since both babies were breech they took me to triage and immediately started prepping me for surgery. By 10:00 AM an OR opened and I was wheeled in for surgery.

    At 36w4d on July 10 my little ones made their grand entrance. Baby A, Sydney Ryan, arrived weighing in at 5 lbs 11 oz at 10:27 AM. She's beautiful! One minute later at 10:28 Baby B, Colin Michael arrived. He weighed in at 5 lbs 7 oz and is perfect. :wub:

    Neither baby spent one minute in the NICU! They are both champs with no eating or breathing issues and just a short 48 hours after delivery we were discharged. We are now home, trying to adjust to a new schedule. :woo:
