My babies are finally home together!

    My beautiful twins Madelynn Dawn and Gavin Robert were born February 6, 2009! They were born at 33 weeks and 4 days. My son Gavin Robert (4 lb 3 oz) spent 19 days in the N.I.C.U. He came home on February 25th! My daughter Madelynn Dawn (3 lb 2 oz) came home on March 11th after 32 days in the N.I.C.U. I am so thrilled to say that they are both doing fantastic! My son is now a beefy 5 lb 4 oz and my daughter is now 4 lb 1 oz! The first time they met, they were tandem breast feeding, they stared at each other and held hands the whole time!! It was so beautiful that I cried tears of happiness! The first picture below is their first picture together! The second picture is their first night sleeping together!

    Congrats and I am so glad they are now home together. Your description of them tandem nursing brought a tear to my eye as well....how precious. I look forward to those days.
