my babies are afraid of the weirdest things!

seriously, the toys they played with when they were smaller suddenly scare the crap out of them!

1. a toy cell phone that i put away for a while and just brought back out. it talks and lights up and scares the crap out of them. if i have it in my hand, they take it out of my hands and throw it. lol and if i walk away and leave them there with the phone JUST LYING THERE, they freak out!

2. a ball that lights up and plays music. they used to love this thing! i haven't turned it on in a while, and did this morning and they flipped out! wth?

3. the other day the neighbor was doing something with his lawn and a huge machine (no, not a lawn mower lol), so i put the fan in the girls' room to drown out the noise. i put the girls down intheir cribs, turned on the fan, and they flipped. so i unplugged the fan and took it out saying, "okay, bye bye fan! no more fan!" lol

4. one of their musical books that's running out of batteries... it just plays one note over and over and it scares them! (i've been reading this book to them before bedtime since they were 3 months old)

5. vacuum cleaner, blender, mixer

i think there's something else that i'm missing...


alright, you're turn. what weird things are your babies afraid of? tell me mine aren't the only ones!

 

My girls don't really get freaked out about much. But we were at my IL's a few weeks ago and FIL was using a power saw and they FLIPPED out! Then later he was putting some tools in a bucket that made a loud noise and they didn't like that either....

 

My girls freak out over strange men waving to them on the highway!

Noises dont really bother them, I think they like loud noise. I am a vacuuming fanatic plus I used to use the vacuum as white noise to get them to sleep so maybe that has something to do with it.
They actually cant sleep if its quiet.

 

the toys is kinda strange, you'd think they'd enjoy them. But everyone has their own scares.

Mine are only scared of the vacuum. I have to put them in another room so I can vacuum the livingroom

 

My DD FREAKS over grass!!! If she even sees it, she screams and shakes. I have been taking her outside and pulling up some blades of grass for her to touch so she can get used to it. The first time this happened, I had put her and DS on the grass to take their picture and she screamed so loud and hysterically, that I thought I put her in a pile of fire ants!!!! :-(

 

Both of my girls get scared when my DH clears his throat. They always jump and look at him wide-eyed. And sometimes they start crying. Babies are such...babies!

Hailey was scared of Eeyore for a while. We have a big Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger in their room. She has no problem if I put Pooh or Tigger in the middle of the room, but if I put Eeyore near her she shakes her head no and runs into the corner of the room. She has since gotten over it and made friends with Eeyore.

They are both afraid of those things in the wall to stop the door from hitting the wall, you know that boing noise it makes...they hate that!
